Bitching In Lieu Of Training

I am taking a day off of training today, due to snow, and focusing my attention on bitching. My HP laptop, which is a replacement for one that lasted a few weeks, is a piece of shit. Mated with MicroSucks Vista Sometimes-Operating System it sucks harder. This pile of junk only cost around $1500 but it is only a year old and frequently displays the blue screen of death. I should add that the HP printer, which was left homeless on my doorstep by a douche bag, is also lacking in quality. It is the crack baby equivalent of a leave-behind, nicely swaddled and cute but under the surface lies something better off under State supervision.

Bitching on: there is light at the end of my computer saga, the Mac Power Book. Highly expensive but a quality machine. If you haven't been to an Apple Store, go an test it out. I have an online database system which is supposedly "optimized" for MicroSuck's Explorer which of course works better using Apple Safari on an Apple computer. If you try to use it on the PC version of Safari, certain features do not work. WTF? PC = Piece of Crap. Apple = Apple. This whole issue is sort of the same as driving a BMW/Toyota/Mercedes or Kia/Chevrolet/Ford. PCs are for the masses who continually have to upgrade and replace and Macs are for those who like to drive a car which is known for quality but might be a little more expensive. Taking it in the ass once upfront might be better than being woefully surprised up the ass at random intervals.
