PseudoMead aka CSP Table Mountain Crit

Wow, the wind was angry last night and I sucked it up hard. It was a good reminder for me of the difference between your basic Cat 3 race and the Cat 1 and 2/ 35+ guys.

35+ in this state and probably most others is one solid torture fest. Sometimes I can hang and many times I have a lot of trouble. The first 20 minutes is the defining moment of whether or not I will survive for a pack-fill finish. The 3s are generally much easier to deal with. No real strung-out, guttered single line stuff with those guys just a lot of start and stop which is manageable if you stay towards the front. Having my ass handed to me consistently by the masters is good for me and reminds me of how much room I have for improvement.
