Silverthorne has declared the beginning of summer with the plowing of the Dam D'Huez. You might say, "Summer? What about Spring?" I say what about Spring!?! When you live in a place where Summer is merely a pause between the end and the re-beginning of ski season, we skip Spring altogether. The birds and bees better get on it or on each other quick, Fall is coming.
